The options included the biggest stars like Idris Elba, Zac Efron, Chance The Rapper, Michael B. Jordan, Bruno Mars, Jake Gyllenhaal, Prince Harry, and John McEnroe. Discarding such options, Serena instead chose a then 22-year-old Justin Bieber to be her dating partner.

“What do you mean? I am definitely going with Justin Bieber,” she said, expressing her fondness of the Canadian singer.

Serena‘s appreciation for Justin could be seen when his face appeared on the screen. Seeing the photo of the young popstar on screen, Serena began clapping and laughing.

Raising her arms while selecting Justin Bieber, Serena further added, “You know what, it’s always going to be Justin Bieber. That’s always it.”

Serena’s answer may have been a treat for Justin Bieber. However, it was definitely a surprise for the whole audience and the show host, Ellen DeGeneres herself. The proof of it was visible in Elle’s reaction to the answer. At the end of the show, an amazed Elle asserted, “That is a surprise to all of us.”
