December 1st is internationally regarded as World AIDS Day. As the date arrived, Billie Jean King’s old friend and famous singer Elton John took to Instagram to share the current status of the disease. While the issue still exists in almost all parts of the world, John has been directly involved in fighting against the issue with the help of his foundation. Bringing another good news for the world of tennis, Billie Jean King also came forward to show her concern against the issue, as she stood in support of her friend.

Tennis legend Billie Jean King once again came forward to present her strong commitment to making a positive impact on society. Known for her strong involvement in various social causes, King recently reminded the world of her involvement in fighting against a major issue existing in the society. King’s close friend and legendary singer Elton John has been fighting against HIV/AIDS for a long time now. Along with sharing moments of entertainment, their friendship has extended to taking a stand against the issue together.

On World AIDS Day, King took to her social media to support Elton John’s foundation’s initiative on HIV awareness. In a recent Instagram story, the 80-year-old shared a video of Elton in which he can be seen discussing the challenges that the world is still facing because of HIV/AIDS. Along with sharing the insightful video with her followers, King also expressed gratitude to her friend Elton John for his remarkable contributions. “World AIDS day reminds us that HIV/AIDS has not gone away. Let’s continue to fight for better education, more research, and the elimination of the stigma often associated with HIV/AIDS. Thank you, Elton John, for helping to save so many lives,” she mentioned.
