In the midst of all the doping investigations and her skepticism about her tennis career, the 31-year-old tennis player recently took time out of her busy schedule to celebrate her nephew’s birthday. And she enjoyed the moment in peace, leaving all the doping stress at home.

Simona Halep relishes a moment of peace 

Since last year’s US Open, when the two-time Grand Slam champion who actually defeated American tennis giant Serena Williams failed a doping test, things have become a little uncertain for her. But that was not the only thing that went wrong with her in the past year. After that, she also faced a second doping offense by the ITIA over her biological passport.

And even though she kicked started her drug case hearing to appeal for her doping suspension. She is going through a lot of different situations trying to clear her name and have a tennis career once again. Halep’s supporters had discovered a brief moment of happiness despite being really stressed out.

Well, the former world number one tennis player recently took to her Instagram account to share a story after literally months. She shared beautiful pictures of her nephew posing with a tennis racket, making different faces.

Along with that, she also took a selfie of herself with her nephew on the occasion of his birthday. Halep was seen snuggling up with her nephew in the picture. In addition, she wrote, “La multi ani ingerasule,” in Romanian, which means “Happy birthday angel.” followed by three red hearts.

Amid all the doping allegations, this is one more thing that is stressing the Romanian tennis player’s fans regarding whether she will make a return to the tennis court or not.

Halep’s raising doubts about her tennis future 

The 31-year-old tennis player is making an effort to maintain her composure and fight her own war. Even before the drug accusations surfaced last year, the Romanian tennis player unintentionally discussed retiring at such a young age. She experienced a lot because of her calf injury before making a comeback and competing in the US Open.
