There were breakup rumors after Kalinskaya shared a black-and-white photo with the caption, “You’re not a bad boy, you are simply a bad person.” When a flurry of curious fans asked if she was still dating the Aussie, Kalinskaya issued candid statements. She said, “No, I don’t! We broke up. We aren’t friends. You all are his fans, and it’s cool, but I’m not going to talk about him. I have some respect for me as well, please. Sami Reinwein, who has retired from the racket game, is rumored to be in a romantic relationship with Kalinskaya. Back in 2017, the rumored couple dropped a few dating hints on social media. The former German tennis player’s Instagram post showed how Kalinskaya “had to post herself home from France” as he shared a picture of the Russian player wrapped inside a box.

Even though they have not confirmed anything about a romantic relationship, they have appeared in public together a few times. Amidst all the rumors, Kalinskaya had previously pulled off an engagement prank as she shared a picture of herself wearing a gold ring. She wrote, “I said yes.” The picture was brought to light on X by a user who said, “Anna Kalinskaya 🇷🇺 got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Sami Reinwein 🇩🇪 (ATP #565).💍💑”

However, in the comments section, a fan disclosed that the tennis player only tried to perform a practical joke, later confirmed by the user who shared that picture. He said, “I saw her post on IG earlier. A joke that slightly backfired. I thought it looked strange for an engagement ring!”

The pair was also sighted together at the WTA star’s brother Nikolay’s wedding. Surprisingly, Kalinskaya and Reinwein haven’t dropped any further hints about their relationship since the rumors started to float around more than a year ago.
