‘Anything Is Possible’ – Lewis Hamilton’s Recent Post Leaves Venus Williams Impressed

Sport preaches many values apart from being a form of entertainment. The sportspersons can directly or indirectly influence these values in individuals. Take the example of Serena and Venus Williams. The two sisters have overcome all odds to reach the top of the ladder in tennis.

Recently, Formula One star, Lewis Hamilton, shared an inspirational story from his childhood. Subsequently, the elder Williams sister reacted to this.

Venus Williams in awe of Lewis Hamilton

The seven-time Grand Slam champion took to Instagram to re-share Hamilton’s inspirational journey. Reacting to it, Venus said, “Anything is possible.”

Earlier, the British star took to Instagram to share an incident from his childhood. He said, “When I was 15 I fell off my bike and hurt my wrist. The next day I was in so much pain I walked myself to the hospital where doctors told me it was broken and I needed a cast. I had just started the European Formula A championship and this meant I wouldn’t be able to compete. I was so terrified, I could not afford to lose my McLaren contract.”

Further, he went on to add, “So I did what I had to do: had the cast removed, put on a lighter weight one, and raced one handed. I won that championship. I’ve known since then that I can overcome anything when I fight for it. Whether it’s driving with an injured wrist or fighting my way up the grid like I did last weekend. The same is true for you. Fight for what you want. You’ll get it.”

Venus’ brand launches a new collection

The 41-year-old’s clothing brand, EleVen, launched a new summer collection. Venus shared this exciting news on her official Instagram handle, saying, “I created this collection for the girl that wants to stand out. The pearlized sheen finish throughout gives the collection a gorgeous luxe edge.”

On the tennis front, Venus is away from the action due to a leg injury suffered last year. Although age is not by her side, she is aiming to return to the court later this season.
