Additionally, the American tennis legend has frequently expressed her deep love and affection for her young daughter.

Notably, she talked about Olympia during her appearance in the popular show, ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ in 2018. During the show, Jimmy Fallon joined Serena as they mockingly used the British accent to imitate Olympia’s first words.

Serena Williams nailed the British accent along with Jimmy Fallon
During the show, the American tennis legend talked about her marriage to Alexis Ohanian and also about their daughter. Serena further stated that Olympia has developed a personality for herself when she was just 7 months old. Meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon asked Williams if her daughter has said her first words. The 23-time singles Grand Slam champion answered by stating that her daughter had been trying to say her first words a little.

Williams added that Olympia adorably tries to say “Mu, mu, mu, mu, mu” instead of calling her “mama” She further added that she sometimes calls her “Mum”. This prompted Jimmy to sarcastically reply in a British accent, “Oh, maybe she’s British. Like, “Mum, hello. Mum. Mummy.” He added, “Mummy, come here”. Meanwhile, Williams also joined Fallon in using a British accent by saying, “Are we going to Wimbledon? “

Fallon replied, “Are we going to Wimbledon?” He added, “Have a spot of tea. We’re going to win again, aren’t we, Mummy?” Serena immediately said, “Exactly,” followed by Fallon, who said, “That’s right, you are.”

Serena also talked about her husband
During the show, Jimmy Fallon asked Williams about her first meeting with the American internet entrepreneur, Alexis Ohanian. The former US Open champion answered by stating that she randomly met her husband in Rome. Williams further added that it is one of her favorite cities in the world.
The American tennis legend went on to say that Rome is a very romantic city and continued her story. She said that she went down for breakfast during her stay in a hotel. However, breakfast was closed, and she ended up sitting somewhere else. Williams added that the place was empty, and she was only sitting with her trainer and coach at the table. She further revealed that a “big and tall” guy walked in and it was Ohanian.

Serena married Ohanian in a star-studded, Disney-themed wedding ceremony in 2017; shortly after winning her 23rd and final Grand Slam title in Australia.
