Chris Evert’s humorful birthday wishes for her doubles partner 

On 26 March, the former Australian tennis player turned 52, and on that special occasion, a fan to her Twitter account to wish her while looking back on her amazing tennis career and stated that she won a Grand Slam every year starting from 1986 to 2011.

Saying that wonderful tribute on her birthday, the Aussie retweeted the post and wrote, “Wow i didn’t even know that, thanks!” And along with that, she stated that she was not never aware of such a huge tennis fact related to her professional career. However, seeing that amazing post, her former American double partner retweeted the reply.

Additionally, she wrote, “Happy birthday teammate are you as old as me yet?” And asked her the obvious birthday question about her age. Stubbs responded to her teammate’s birthday wish and addressed her question, stating that she was almost as old as an American tennis player.

Not only that but last year both the former tennis players disregarded the Madrid Open Women’s final.

Last year, at the Madrid Open men’s final, was one of the biggest highlights of the year, when the rising star, Carlos Alcaraz, faced Novak Djokovic in the finals. However, the thrilling match went on a little longer. And there was a delay in the women’s final that was scheduled just after the men’s final.

And seeing the tournament’s poor planning, many tennis legends, including the doubles tennis star, criticized the organizers for not fixing a proper WTA schedule. And question the authorities, for not letting women’s tennis have a clear voice for itself.

Notably, like this, there are numerous instances when both tennis players are usually on the same page, but there were times when they showed opposite reactions to each other. However, sharing opposite opinions didn’t really create a bridge between the double pair.
