Players are making the most of their off-season, balancing downtime with intense preparation for what lies ahead. And this time, stealing the spotlight is none other than Aryna Sabalenka and her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, who are redefining Couple Goals in style.

The Belarusian tennis sensation witnessed huge success in the last year and clinched two Grand Slams besides advancing to the World No. 1 spot. Now, she will be returning to action at Brisbane International where she will attempt to better her performance from 2024,  where she lost in the finals to Elena Rybakina. And as she prepares in the Australian city of Brisbane for her campaign, she is witnessing some great support from her boyfriend.

Taking to her Instagram story, the Oakberry founder shared a video of Sabalenka shedding sweat on the Australian hard courts, as he keenly observed her preparing for her campaign. He wrote, “@arynasabalenka 🩵.” Sabalenka, meanwhile, was quick to reciprocate the sentiments. Resharing the video on her story, the Belarusian player expressed her admiration for her boyfriend’s gesture and dropped, “🩵💜🩵.” Interestingly, this is not the first time that the love between the couple has come to light.

When Sabalenka clinched the title at the US Open. Frangulis was quick to laud her accomplishment and wrote, “I’m in love with the Queen of NY,” on social media. Sabalenka also reciprocated his sentiments and responded by saying, “I’m so lucky to have you by my side. Your support is priceless.”

For the unversed, Sabalenka and Frangulis started dating in early 2024, and have reciprocated immense support and love for each other since then. Sabalenka has been a vocal supporter of Frangulis’ superfood brand, Oakberry. The star player has even become an Oakberry ambassador and created a signature açaí bowl for the brand. Now, as Sabalenka gears up for her next season, she would be anticipating similar support from one of her biggest cheerleaders.

Coming to her professional endeavors, Sabalenka seems to have her goals set ahead of her tour in Australia, as she looks to win more accolades in 2025.

Aryna Sabalenka emerged victorious at the US Open and the Australian Open last year, besides clinching titles in Cincinnati and Wuhan. But despite her stellar performances, she does not seem completely contented and desires to improve herself as she steps into another season.

Speaking about the same to BBC Sport, Sabalenka said, “There are so many things to improve,” Continuing further, she added, “I’m not that good with maybe my game at the net in singles. “There is a lot of things to improve in my touch game. Even my serve is not as good as I want it to be, so there is always (elements) to improve.” As she looks to defend her title at the Australian Open, Sabalenka wishes to experiment with her skills again in Brisbane.

The first tournament before the major tournament is the one where you can try it out and see what’s going to work well for you, and what’s not,” she added. Now, as the season unfolds, it would be interesting to see how Aryna Sabalenka manages to play in 2025 and how her boyfriend will support her in her endeavors.
