

Aryna Sabalenka is on Cloud 9 at the moment. The Belarusian tennis beauty can hardly put a foot wrong lately. She finished her 2024 season on a strong note by ending on the top of the WTA rankings chart. Additionally, she won the US Open, her third major title and second this season. While things look settled as far as her professional commitments are concerned, Sabalenka’s relationship with her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis is also thriving. Earlier today, Sabalenka made a heartfelt revelation after glimpses of her wonderful time with her boyfriend went viral.
Frangulis took to his official Instagram handle and shared pictures of him and Sabalenka enjoying the off-season. The two have been enjoying their personal time off with their family and friends. While in one of the pictures, the power couple can be seen enjoying dinner with their close friends, in another picture, they can be seen embraced in a tight hug on a beach.
Although the season’s end was on a positive note for Sabalenka, she struggled with personal issues and a dip in form in the middle phase of the season. However, with her boyfriend’s support, she was able to overcome it all and finish off on a high. Reacting to her boyfriend’s post on Instagram, Sabalenka commented, “The best off-season in my life. I love you.”

Sabalenka and Frangulis have been holidaying in Paris after a hectic 2024 season. Additionally, they also met up with the former Ferrari driver, Felipe Massa. Earlier, they enjoyed an outing at an NBA game, watching the Miami Heat game. While the duo has been enjoying the time of their life, it has come after a challenging phase, where Frangulis had to lift Sabalenka from a tough phase of her life.
During an interview, Sabalenka said, “There was a really tough period where I was really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff. But I make sure I kind of forget about tennis and focus on the good things and enjoy my life. Even when things are going wrong in my career. So yeah, he was my biggest support and yeah, really happy to have him by my side.”
While it was a year full of ups and downs for Sabalenka, she made a strong comeback to end the season on a positive note. She also revealed how she turned things around to end on a high.

Earlier this year, Sabalenka’s ex-boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov passed away under tragic circumstances. It came as a shock to Sabalenka and she was greatly affected by this tragedy. Subsequently, she lost form and wasn’t able to give her best on the court. Nonetheless, Frangulis stood beside her and motivated her to come back stronger.
Revealing details about her ups and downs times, Sabalenka mentioned, “I faced a lot of challenges. But now looking back, I can say that it was really the best year of my career, and probably in some things, like it was a really difficult year. But I’m really happy that I was able to go through everything with a strong mentality and still compete on my highest level, I think. This is something me and my team should be proud of.”
