‘As per Usual…’ – Martina Navratilova Reacts to Hillary Clinton’s Views About Journalism in Today’s World

During the late 80s and the 90s, Martina Navratilova took women’s tennis to greater heights with her audacious displays on the court. She ushered her dominance, winning several titles all over the globe. Further, she, along with Chris Evert, formed one of the fiercest rivalries in tennis history.

She attained massive success in all formats of the game. During her illustrious career, Navratilova managed to win an astounding 59 Grand Slam titles in total, with 18 titles coming in singles, 31 in women’s doubles, and 10 mixed doubles. Recently, she reacted to Hillary Clinton’s speech about journalism in today’s world.

Martina Navratilova agrees with Hillary Clinton

Last week, the former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made an appearance at The Texas Tribune in Austin. She was one of the high-profile speakers during the event. Clinton spoke on a variety of subjects and also gave her views about what journalism should be in today’s world.

Reacting to Clinton’s talk on this subject, tennis legend, Martina Navratilova said, “Right Hillary, as per usual…”

During an interview recently, the 65-year-old opened up about Serena Williams’ huge impact on the tennis world. Talking about the impact of Williams becoming the first African-American woman to win a Grand Slam singles title in the Open Era, Navratilova said, “I mean, look how much more diversity we have in the game today. It’s fantastic. It used to be just Europe and English-speaking countries for the most part.”
