The battle for the childhood home of Venus and Serena Williams is getting messy with each passing day. New shocking details are coming to light. It shows how the stepmother of the Williams sisters is stuck in a never-ending loop of debt-ridden helplessness. And Richard Williams is not ready to give her any more leeway after she acquired their home in Palm Beach Gardens, allegedly, after forging his signature.

The possibility of Graham getting herself out of this mess seems very bleak. She is entangled in a $1.4 million battle surrounding the property in Palm Beach Gardens. Her living conditions are compromised as she continues to hang on to the childhood home of Venus and Serena Williams.

The stepmother of Venus and Serena Williams is in a dire state

Well, to say that she is living in the home would be quite wrong. Because the property in itself is in a deteriorated state. Richard Williams himself wants to get done with the old property and build a new home.

However, currently, Lakeisha Graham is residing on the property. But the only place that is habitable in that property is the outhouse of the crumbling home. Richard Williams’ son Chaviota LeSane told the Sun, “As far as I know Lakeisha is living in what we call the ‘dog house’ next to the main house now.”

Lakeisha Graham seems to be residing there with her aunt Betty Dowling, with whom she has been doing business even before Graham met Richard Williams. LeSane detailed, “My dad converted a clubhouse into a small studio and I have been told she’s living there with Betty. They are just playing games.”

Noting the dilapidated state of the property, LeSane stated that even if work was being done on the house, it can’t be repaired.

The house is not the only thing that is in a mess. If you think Graham has only $610,000 to pay for the mortgage she exacted from the villa, then you are wrong.

Lakeisha Graham surely doesn’t have the support of Richard Williams anymore

Graham has pending debts and mortgages from the time before she met Richard Williams. However, Graham is hoping for a miracle to happen. LeSane stated, “Lakeisha wanted my dad to write a check for the house so the deed will become free and clear, but he’s not doing it.”

And divorce is just one amongst many ordeals that Graham has to pull herself out of. But for Richard Williams, divorce is crucial. As dictated by LeSane, “We are also pushing forward with the divorce right now, but she’s being stubborn about her deposition, there is one last one.”

Graham has almost $500,000 in debt from the time before she met Richard Williams. Now, she has to pay $610,000 to “hard lender” Simon after putting the Palm Beach Gardens on mortgage.
