Serena Williams stars in the latest Gatorade commercial

The former World Number 1 took to Instagram to share the latest Gatorade commercial featuring her. Shelling out words of inspiration, she said, “We all need inspiration. But belief can only be found within. What’s inside me is inside you, too.”

Not only has Serena inspired people across the globe through tennis, but she also does her best to do the same through her business ventures. Earlier this year, her Venture Capital firm, Serena Ventures, raised $111 Million as an inaugural fund. The 23-time Grand Slam champion revealed that she is looking to invest this amount in women and diversity.

Talking about her venture capital (VC) firm, Serena said, “Our fund really impacts lives and companies in everyday life. So, what we try to invest in is companies that are really impacting everyday lives of everyday people. So that, kind of really broadens our spectrum of who we invest in. Also, it narrows down on who we do not invest in.”

Serena suffers a major blow due to her injury

After being out of action for close to a year now, the younger Williams sister is set to move out of the WTA rankings. She will lose all her ranking points after Wimbledon and, as a result, lose her WTA ranking.
