Alexis Ohanian doesn’t shy away from sharing his thoughts on matters of debate. He stands firm on his take and at the same time appreciates different angles and views. Further, the 23 times Grand Slam champion Serena Williams’ husband is very active on social media and uses them as a platform for discussion.

Recently, Ohanian took to Twitter to share his thoughts and get people’s thoughts on the whole Elon Musk taking over Twitter matter. Here’s what he wrote.

Ohanian is a frequent user of the platform and a businessman who co-founded a similar app some time back. Therefore, one can say, without a doubt, that he has an immense interest in the matter. “In hindsight, the billionaire-buys-media-company move really showed the difference between bias for old media (Washpo, TIME) and new media (twitter).” An intrigued Ohanian wrote.

Thereafter, he added, “Where do you think the momentum is going?” As a response to this, many fans shared their ideas and perspectives. One wrote in favor of such changes and shared. “I hope Microsoft (or another tech company) buys Netflix, both Amazon, Apple, Hulu (Disney) are taking more creative risks and scooping up awards.”
Others pointed out. “It’s not that simple or innocuous.” Musk, who in April offered a check for 44 billion dollars, claimed ownership of the company this October at the same price. Also, the founder of SpaceX is determined to bring some big changes to Twitter regardless of its current performance.

Ohanian as an investor
The 39-year-old runs an investment firm ‘Seven Seven Six’, which believes in powering futuristic and technology-based start-ups. The firm has made an investment in 60 companies up till now.

Speaking of Ohanian’s personal ventures, he has 163 companies under his wings. Pulp Culture, Altan Insights, Pachama and Jomboy Media are the recent additions. Further, he acts as the board member and advisor of many companies.
