The 31-year-old tennis player was a victim of a robbery just a few weeks after her birthday. But that’s not the worst part; the theft occurred while she was out having a birthday dinner, making the situation worse for her.

Last month, on May 19, Watson turned 31, but because of her commitments, she was a little delayed in celebrating her birthday with her loved ones. And recently, the British tennis star got the perfect opportunity to celebrate her birthday and went out on a dinner with friends. But little did she know that her special occasion was going to turn out to be an unforgettable moment for her.

And when she finally let her guard down to have a fun time with her friends, the British number 6 was mortified to discover that her car had been stolen. She took to her Twitter account to share this incident with her fans.

Watson wrote, “It all started last night when my car was stolen from my home – in a secure underground parking garage with CCTV and a 24 hour security man. Whist I was finally getting to celebrate my birthday at dinner with my friends 🥳 happy birthday to me?”

However, having his car stolen was the last thing the British tennis player needed after failing to qualify for this year’s French Open. She also made a snarky birthday greeting to herself in light of how her birthday celebration went.
