As a testament to her fun-loving nature, Badosa recently pulled a hilarious prank on her friend and Belarusian tennis player, Aryna Sabalenka.

Badosa and Sabalenka were recently spotted enjoying dinner in a restaurant in Guadalajara. Meanwhile, the Spanish tennis star arranged a birthday celebration for her fellow tennis player in the restaurant. However, Sabalenka later revealed a detail that made the prank even more hilarious.

Paula Badosa pulls a hilarious prank on her best friend, Aryna Sabalenka

The former world no.2 recently revealed her mischievous side as she pranked her close friend in a restaurant. Paula Badosa arranged a birthday cake for Aryna Sabalenka. She further tipped off some of the staff in the restaurant to arrange a giant “S”-shaped balloon for her friend, Sabalenka.

However, the Belarusian tennis star later revealed that it wasn’t her birthday, and she was being pranked by Badosa. Sabalenka also posted some videos on her social media to clarify her fake birthday celebration. She revealed via her Instagram story, “Guys just want to let you know! it’s not my birthday, it’s just Paula has such a good sense of humor. This one was really funny, still can’t stop laughing”

Sabalenka was spotted laughing continuously during her fake birthday celebration in the restaurant. She also wrote “love You Girl “ and “Bi*Tch” with a heart emoji in one of the stories. The Belarusian WTA star further revealed that she is also planning something mischievous for Badosa’s birthday. Sabalenka stated, “November 15, you’ll receive a nice present.”

Badosa and Sabalenka were often involved in fierce contests on the tennis court. However, off the court, they both are very close friends and love to hang out with each other during their tournaments.

Badosa and Sabalenka are a doubles team

The WTA doubles team of Sabalenka and Badosa is often regarded as “Sabadosa.” The popular tennis pair have participated in various tennis tournaments as a team. They previously participated in the doubles event of the Madrid Open in Spain. However, despite a decent performance, Sabalenka and Badosa were knocked out in the very first round by the American tennis duo of Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula.

Prior to the Madrid Open, Sabalenka and Badosa also participated in the Stuttgart Open. They performed brilliantly as they reached the quarter-final round of the tournament in Germany. The Spanish star teamed up with her best friend during the doubles event of the Miami Open as well.
