

Earlier this month, tennis legend, Serena Williams bid adieu to tennis after playing her last match at the US Open. She reached the third round of the tournament before losing against Ajla Tomljanovic in three sets. Nonetheless, Serena gave a good account of herself against her Australian opponent before making an emotional exit.

Fans rushed into the stadium to catch a glimpse of Serena in action for one last time. Additionally, many renowned personalities were also spotted watching Serena’s matches at this year’s US Open. Amongst them was the American boxing legend, Mike Tyson, although he was suffering from a scary health condition. Recently, he talked about this disease.
Mike Tyson opens up about suffering from Sciatica
During an interview, Tyson revealed details of the disease that he was suffering from. Talking about this, he said, “I have sciatica every now and then, it flares up. When it flares up, I can’t even talk. Thank god, it’s the only health problem I have.”
Further, he went on to add, “I am splendid now. Everybody in my house is truly blessed and we are all very grateful for whatever we have.”
Despite his ongoing battle against this nerve condition, Tyson made sure to attend Serena’s match at the US Open. He was present in the Arthur Ashe Stadium to witness Serena’s first-round win over Danka Kovinic. Tyson sat beside tennis legend, Martina Navratilova and cheered for Serena all the way.

Iga Swiatek taking a trick out of Serena Williams’ book
Recently, the Polish tennis star and World Number 1, Iga Swiatek talked about how Serena’s intimidating factor made her opponents wary. Subsequently, Swiatek revealed how she was trying to learn this trick from Serena.

Swiatek said, “She used it pretty well to make her matches a little bit easier, especially at the beginning. I feel like I was able to do that a couple of times, but I want to do it more often. So for sure I’m aware of that and I want to try and use it in the right way.”
