Patrick Mouratoglou is one of the most famous tennis personalities. After a longtime collaboration with American tennis star Serena Williams, he finally parted ways to coach Simona Halep.

The Frenchman has done his best to bring back Halep to the top of her game. However, a few Serena fans are not happy with the 58-year-old. Recently, Mouratoglou took to his Twitter account to give a befitting reply to one such troll.

With the rise of social media, there has been a significant increase in online hate and trolling of public figures. Someone was trying to troll Simona Halep and her coach Patrick Mouratoglou, but the Frenchman gave a befitting reply to shut him down.

Simona Halep reaches the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Championship

The Romanian tennis star has been looking to regain her best form after a long break. Although she had a stint of losses, the 30-year-old has been making slow and steady progress. Halep is having a brilliant run at the Wimbledon Championships 2022. Accompanied by her new coach, the 30-year-old has reached the Quarterfinal of the prestigious Grand Slam event.

In her round of 16 match against Paula Badosa, she raced to a straight-set victory. Looking in good touch, the Romanian has now won her 11th match of Wimbledon in a row.

Halep has been playing exceptionally well in the tournament. She hasn’t dropped a single set en route to the quarterfinal. Starting her campaign against Karolina Muchova, she won 6-3, 6-2, further she won 7-5, 6-4 against Kirsten Flipkens, then she beat Magdalena Frech to reach the fourth round and now advanced to the quarterfinal after beating Badosa.

She will be up against Amanda Anisimova in the quarterfinals. While Halep looks in astounding form, Anisimova can’t be taken lightly either. She will be making her first quarterfinal appearance at the grass-court Major. While getting best of some of the brilliant players on her way to book her clash with Halep, the American will be looking to go all the way.
