Following that, a first-round exit from the Monterrey Open was due to the injury. Therefore, she underwent surgery and has been in recovery since then.

However, Bouchard’s life hasn’t lost the spark, as she is enjoying the time she has in hand before returning to the hectic tennis schedule. Recently, she went out for an award night and shared some interesting pictures.

Bouchard attended walked the red carpet of ESPY Awards ceremony with her friends and a very handsome date. She enjoyed the night alongside Zach Zumb, who was over the moon for having such a beautiful date by his side. As he wrote, “Can we take a moment for my extremely hot plus insanely talented and also the best time ever of a date?”

To which an overwhelmed Bouchard replied, “OMG, I love you. Can we get married?” The Canadian tennis ace stole the event by shining in a classy black dress paired with diamond earrings and a back glittery clutch.

The 27-year-old return to the tours keeps getting post-ponded. Earlier she decided to take a wild card entry to the French Open by playing some clay-based ITF tournaments. Then she enrolled in the Wimbledon Championships. Though both her plans couldn’t come to life.
