Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard was unable to qualify for the main draw of her home tournament. However, her journey at the Canadian Open did not end there. She landed herself a role as a co-host on the Sportsnet panel at the tournament with two other hosts. The tennis beauty engaged with Jesse Levine and Brad Fay instead of completely disappearing from the tournament.

Although Genie Bouchard is known for her killer looks, recently a story posted on social media made her rather feel quite the opposite as she used the word ‘ugly’ to define herself. As a person with sight, we say Genie is anything but ugly.

After becoming one of the new faces of Sportsnet, it is impossible for her to not get comments from people on social media. Her latest role has got her a different kind of attention, unlike the kind she gets on the court. However, her fans are in love with the way she has embraced her on-screen job.

A fan page of Genie on Instagram posted a story for her with one of the snips from her time on screen with a sweet caption. The caption said, “You are doing a fantastic job on SN @geniebouchard. Love listening”

Despite the encouraging comment Genie received on her performance, she found a way to be her own critic. She reposted the same story on her official Instagram account and added the caption, “Ugly talking faces omg”. This was in reference to the face she had in the photo that the fan posted.

There may not be many instances where we might disagree with Genie when it comes to tennis. But this claim of calling herself ugly surely won’t sit well with her fans, as she is nothing but a tennis beauty. Also, it’s not just her fans that are enjoying her role as a co-host, Genie seems to be loving it too as she posts countless stories of herself during the shoot on her social media.

We have no doubt Genie is loving it as a co-host as she made several story posts about her new setup, and also posted how she was taking a quick camera check.

Further, she also added a video of herself surrounded by the camera crew and multiple TV screens where she can see herself from every angle as she shoots. She even posted a selfie pouting and making a peace sign with the whole setup in the background. It is rightly said that whatever happens, happens for good.

What might seem a failure to everyone actually worked out in Genie’s favor as after being shoved out of the tournament, she found a new place for herself at a different spot.
