Venus Williams yesterday attended the SAG Awards. She was accompanied by her sister, Isha Price, along with the cast of the film ‘King Richard’. The champion was there as a part of the ‘King Richard’ team, which got nominated for awards in several categories. The former World No.1 was dressed in a single-shoulder white dress, coupling it with a silver tank top.

Even though Venus looked stunning in the dress, her excitement doubled seeing the singing sensation Lady Gaga. Coincidentally, the iconic singer also opted for a white and silver outfit. Taking a note of it, American entertainment channel E! Entertainment took to their Instagram handle, putting up a post of all the white celebrities in white. Seeing herself in the same post as Lady Gaga, Venus took no time to share the post on her Instagram account.

Venus’s love for Lady Gaga

The entertainment channel, E! Entertainment, took to its Instagram page, uploading a post. The post was a collage of three stars who opted for white dresses at the SAG Awards. The collage included the photo of Singing icon Lady Gaga, Hollywood sensation Alexandra Daddario, and tennis legend Venus Williams.

The caption of the post read, “Category is…Winning in white! Whose dress are you rocking to the SAG awards red carpet?”

Even though Venus Williams has millions of fans following her, World No. 1 had a fangirl moment with Lady Gaga. The 7-time Grand Slam champion went all thrilled, meeting Lady Gaga in person at the awards ceremony. Furthermore, seeing her photo alongside Gaga, Venus immediately took to her Instagram, sharing the post on her story.

Venus Williams and King Richard

Venus Williams attended the SAG Awards a part of the team of ‘King Richard’. A movie based on William’s father, Richard Williams. Even though Williams didn’t act in the movie, she played a vital role by being the executive producer alongside sister Serena Williams. The movie features Will Smith, Aunjanue Ellis, Saniyya Sidney, and Demi Singleton in the lead roles.

Released at the end of last year, ‘King Richard’, critically acclaimed; Cruised its way to a large number of award nominations. The movie received one of its biggest appreciation earlier this month, being nominated in 6 categories at the Academy Awards 2022, scheduled to take place on 27th March.
