Active children are bound to land themselves in situations that are less than favorable. Many times, they are able to keep things hush and make sure that their parents don’t find out. Many look back on such moments and call them nostalgia. Venus Williams lies in the former category. Being a public figure from a younger age, Williams was bound to get involved in excitable situations which wouldn’t be deemed safe by an authority figure. Williams recently reminisced about her time spent doing ‘crazy’ activities.

One crazy time in Venus Williams’ life was when she met her childhood coach, Rick Macci, for the first time. The coach recalled the events leading up to him meeting the sisters for the first time.

If anyone does anything that could be considered dangerous or harmful, the first thought that enters the mind is that, hopefully, their mom wouldn’t find out about it. Queen V has shown that such thoughts continue no matter the age as a mom should not worry. Recently on a Q&A with her fans, Williams revealed how she still hides things from her mother, Oracene Price.

One follower of Williams asked her about the craziest things she has done in her life. While she did not reveal any specific event, Queen V did mention why she was worried about sharing any story.  

While smiling, Williams said, “Well, I absolutely can’t say because then my mom would know, and we can’t have that happening. But, for the most part, I don’t do crazy stuff, but, yea there are a couple things that I’ve done“.

Although Williams didn’t share any stories, her childhood coach shared one baffling incident involving his protegee.

The Williams sisters did not come from a place of prosperity. But their father managed to get one established coach to give his daughters a chance. As Rick Macci was on the way to the tennis court with Richard Williams, he recalled seeing sights which boggled his mind. He remembered seeing people drinking, smoking and sleeping on the grass. As he saw the sights, he regretted his decision to come to Compton.
