Emma Raducanu on injury concern

On Friday, the 19-year-old broke down in the middle of a practice session. She looked in trouble and pointed toward her right hand while her coach, Dmitry Tursunov, came forward to console her. It was a scary moment for her fans, but the Brit later clarified the situation.

“I think that today, the practice, I had, like, a few small things, got a couple of blisters, a bit of a niggle here and there,” she said. Adding further to it, the 19-year-old said, “Can’t really explain myself, to be honest. I’m sure everyone in this room has probably had a day like that. It is what it is.”
