Heckled Danielle Collins demands respect at Madrid Open. Facing a set deficit against Jaqueline Cristian in their third-round clash, Danielle Collins (ranked 13th) found herself needing to address a disruptive spectator. As she prepared to serve in the second set, Collins fired back at the heckler, saying “You come out and you play. Come out here and do what I do, okay? Have a little more respect.” The 30-year-old American clearly aimed to use the incident as motivation, and it worked. She went on to win the second set, leveling the match score. However, the tennis fans online are simply thrashing her for her behavior on the tennis court.

Amidst all the bashing, one fan came ahead and suggested that Danielle Collins should retire after her rage was on pure display at the Madrid Open. “Retire already……” said the fan who was clearly unimpressed with the way she acted on the court.

Next, this one fan was also clearly not happy with the way things went ahead for Danielle Collins. “Can’t stand her,” said the fan who could not tolerate her actions.

Another fan joined the crew and suggested that after all the things that she had said, she better go on and win the match. “She better win after all that yapping,” said the fan who hoped for the best for Collins despite her actions.

This fan came ahead and suggested that Danielle Collins is just the same person who said shut your mouth to Maria Sakkari. “It’s rich that Danielle demands respect. Was she not the same person that said ‘shut your mouth’ to Maria Sakkari? It’s easy to dish it but not easy to take it,” said the fan who believes that it is easy to say things but not take it.

Last, but not least, this fan joined the crew and did not hold any word back at Collins. He slammed the 30-year-old star and suggested that he would have bashed her straightaway had he been on the other side of the net. “Collins and Respect are two words that have no right to be in the same sentence If it’s me, I would have told Collins, “S**U and concentrate on your game” Even at the risk of getting sent out from the court,” said the fan.
