Caroline Wozniacki has been close friends with Danish F1 racer Kevin Magnussen for a long time. Getting to know about Kevin’s comeback to F1; over delighted Wozniacki went all heart him for the 29-year-old, uploading an appreciation post on her Instagram.
Kevin Magnussen started his F1 career with Mclaren in 2014. Having a recognizable start to his racing career with Mclaren, Kevin shifted to Renault in 2016. Working with the company for one year, he then shifted to Haas in 2017. Racing for Haas, the Danish driver had his best season in 2017. However, the same could not be carried forward by him in the following seasons, resulting in him being dropped by Haas, at the end of the 2020 season. The drop was also accompanied by Kevin’s announcement of retiring from F1.

In 2018, Caroline Wozniacki worked with Kevin Magnussen to promote her energy drink company State Energy. The two indulged in many activities, that included Kevin stepping in the shoes of Wozniacki and facing her on a tennis court. The two have been friends ever since.
Wozniacki excited about Kevin’s return
Since his retirement from Formula one racing, in 2020, Kevin, yesterday announced his comeback to the racing track with Haas. Hearing the news former World No.1 Caroline Wozniacki took no time to post a story on her Instagram. The story was a repost of F1’s official post, announcing the return of Kevin. The caption of the original post read, “BREAKING: K-Mag is back! Kevin Magnussen will race for Haas F1 team alongside Mick Schumacher in 2022.”

In the post, Magnussen was seen wearing the driver’s suit of Haas. Resharing the post to her story, Caroline Wozniacki refrained from writing anything about the post. Instead, she added the Danish flag, along with a muscle flex emoticon.
The gracious career of Caroline Wozniacki
Even though Caroline Wozniacki turned pro in 2005, she played her first WTA professional circuit match in 2007 at the WTA Regions Morgan Keegan Champ’s & Cellular South Cup, losing to Venus Williams in the second round. The Danish played a number of tournaments till finally winning her maiden WTA title in 2008 at the WTA 500 Pilot Pen Tennis (Connecticut Open), beating to seeded Anna Chakvetadze in the finals.

Playing tournament after tournament, it was in 2009 that the aura of Caroline Wozniacki started. The player won 3 titles in 2009, along with being runner up in 5 tournaments, including the US Open. Not willing to look back, Wozniacki continued her magnificent run on the tour.

Playing some outstanding tennis, Wozniacki finally became the World No. 1 for the first time on October 11, 2010. In the year, she won 5 titles. There was no looking back for Wozniacki after this. In the following years, Wozniacki won a number of titles, taking his career to another height. In 2018, she won her only Grand Slam, the Australian Open.
The ravishing career of Caroline Wozniacki came to an end in January 2020, when the Danish player announced her retirement from the sport. The 31-year-old has a total of 30 singles titles, along with being at the No. 1 spot for 71 weeks.
