Former Danish professional Caroline Wozniacki is expecting her first child in June 2021. In the meantime, she has busy collecting matching shoes for her baby girl before the big day arrives.

The former World No. 1 is married to ex-NBA player David Lee and announced her pregnancy during the Australian Open 2021. Last year, at the Happy Slam 2020, she hung up her tennis racquet, starting a new chapter outside tennis.

Recently, the Dane took to Instagram to show her fans the adorable shoes she had collected for her coming child.

Holding a tiny pair of Adidas shoes, Caroline added, “I meannnnn, how cute and tiny are these sneakers?!” Clearly, the 2018 Australian Open champion cannot wait to embrace motherhood.

Earlier, Caroline revealed her pregnancy on Instagram with a ‘can’t wait’ caption and scans of their baby girl. Many of her fellow WTA players congratulated her on the good news.

Above all, her friend and 2020 Auckland Open doubles partner Serena Williams had a message for her. The 23-time Grand Slam champion said, Can’t wait for Olympia sister!!!!”

Will the two daughters grow up and play tennis together like their mothers? Well, that is something time will tell.

Considering her age, it would not be a surprise if she makes a return from her retirement. But in the meantime, Caroline’s energy will be missing from the tour. However, Caroline and Serena Williams’ exhibition match scheduled for 2021 will be something to look forward to this year.
