Zendaya-starred Challengers has already stormed the internet with its unique subject. While Serena Williams approved of Zendaya’s skills, fans remain unsatisfied with the Emmy-winning actress’s tennis capabilities. Not only that, but they are so disappointed that this film might receive a setback from the viewers. Directed by Luca Guadagnino, Zendaya’s Tashi Duncan seemed to fail to attract viewers to the theaters.

The official YouTube platform of the tennis Legend TV recently shared a clip from the behind-the-scenes moment of the Challengers. Here, her fans spotted Zendaya training with a stunt double. Notably, Zendaya hit tennis balls and showcased her serve with her stunt double. Fans spotted the famous actress mimicking the strokes for her upcoming movie. Now, this clip went viral soon after it was shared on a social media platform. The clip had a caption that read- “Zendaya training for ‘Challengers’ with her stunt double.” Nevertheless, fans seemed disappointed with the protagonists’ tennis skills.

Not just this particular clip, but the recent trailer has also disappointed the fans. People were spotted commenting that the trailer “looks so bad“. Disappointed viewers criticized the film’s trailers as they felt “The number of cuts in a scene which is under 1 minute made” their heads literally hurt.

However, the audience’s criticism didn’t end there. As soon as the practice clip with Zendaya’s body double went viral, fans almost stated their lack of enthusiasm to watch the movie.

Disappointed over Zendaya’s tennis skills, fans deny to watch Challengers

Despite Zendaya’s immense popularity, fans didn’t take to her in Challengers’s initial look much. They felt she might be great in Dune, but in Challengers, her efforts were not up to the mark. One fan said they have “no plans to ever watch Challengers. Looks terrible.” On the other hand, another tennis fan hilariously stated how Zendaya’s role in “this movie role as a tennis player is LAUGHABLE!” 

People also criticized Zendaya’s faulty “hat grip and open racquet face on the backswing” with utter sarcasm. Disappointed people asked her to get rid of her “frying pan” grip. In a nutshell, people wanted to let Zendaya know that “she doesn’t have the right serve grip!”
