Simon Halep, who tested positive for a drug called Roxadustat at the US Open, recently received a reduction in her ban. A similar thing happened with Maria Sharapova, who was accused of taking a drug called Meldonium. As a result, she received a 2-year suspension in 2016 that was later reduced to 15 months after her appeal.
