Naomi Osaka claimed victory over the Swiss Olympic gold medalist Belinda Bencic in the semifinals of the Miami Open. Although the match was fierce, Osaka’s endurance won her the game. She booked her ticket to the finals by 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. Shortly after winning the match, Naomi shared her excitement by saying“Man idk what’s going on, but I’m just so grateful right now. Iga Swiatek has been unstoppable since Dubai international championship. She has leapfrogged from the world ranking of  7 to a world ranking of 1 in a few months. Adding to that, Iga recently achieved a milestone by winning consecutive 16 matches before turning 21. Thus, getting her name engraved alongside Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova.
