Recently, the 39-year-old took to his Twitter account to express his opinion regarding the TikTok ban issue. Here’s what happened.

Serena Williams’ husband reacts to possible TikTok ban

Alexis Ohanian has vehemently opposed the idea of banning the $50 billion short video platform TikTok. Apart from the impact it will have on the income of influencers, the 39-year-old is also critical about the advantages of its ban. Ohanian took to his Twitter account and shared a commentary that justifies this move. Giving his opinion on the same, he wrote, “This commentary on the potential TikTok ban in the @FT misses the mark — we can’t even get US-controlled social media companies to curb algorithm-fueled extremism and I believe they do want what’s best for our country. You better believe there are still humans at the controls.”

Further, the 39-year-old shared another tweet regarding the same topic.

“If you believe Russia had motivation to meddle with US social media (because they did) the gigabrain move is to own the network itself. China has done that,” Ohanian added.
