Former World No.1 Karolina Pliskova didn’t quite have an impressive 2020 tennis season. As a result, she decided to hire a new tennis coach before her upcoming return to the tennis court. Apparently, her new mentor is none other than the renowned German coach Sascha Bajin.

It has almost been a month since the two started working together and they’ve been doing great so far. Recently, Bajin discovered some interesting character traits in Pliskova. They actually surprised him as he never thought that they would be a part of Pliskova’s personality.
Did you know that @KaPliskova has jokes?! 😁😂

“I have got to say she’s got jokes. She’s funny. So, I was very very surprised because I have to admit that on the court she doesn’t seem like it,” revealed a cheerful Bajin in an interview.
Bajin definitely got stunned after witnessing Pliskova’s sense of humor and jolly nature. However, her easy-going persona is not a concern for him as the young star is serious wheere it matters i.e. on the tennis court.
It’s also clear that the two have a good time during the training sessions.

“Nothing, but really beautiful, positive feedback, like, from her to me. I am very happy,” added the 36-year-old coach.
Bajin will definitely look forward to help Pliskova win some titles in 2021. Although his partnership with Dayana Yastremska didn’t end on a happy note, he would hope to win some Grand Slam titles with Pliskova just like he did with Naomi Osaka.
