Even last year, she did the same. We’ll find out later on but is Coco Gauff a religious person? During an interview with the New York Times, Gauff once mentioned that “Before every match since I was 8, my dad and I say a prayer together.” Gauff went on to add that the prayer isn’t for victory, but rather an expression of thanks to God and of dependence on him.

She has once revealed how her faith helped her deal with the pressures of being a young tennis star. “I try to stay positive and not let the negative things affect me too much. My faith helps me stay focused on my goals and what I want to achieve,” she said while giving an interview with Stylist.

Coco Gauff believes faith has also helped her to stay humble throughout her meteoric rise in the tennis world. Let’s have a look at some of the reactions from the tennis stars on last year’s Easter.

“Happy Resurrection Day” – Coco Gauff’s wish on last year’s Easter

Last year German tennis legend, Boris Becker was seen wishing his fans on Easter. Angelique Kerber posted a picture of herself with a small Easter bunny placed on her daughter’s stroller and wrote, “Happy Easter. Keep your loved ones close to you, recharge your batteries and enjoy this little holiday break.

Coco Gauff also took to social media last year to wish her fans a “Happy Resurrection Day.” Even the Russian tennis star, Karen Khachanov, was seen wishing his fans with a post on Instagram. He wrote, “Happy Easter to all my fellow Americans.” As the day goes by, we’ll be coming up with a lot more such posts for this year’s Easter as well.
