Recently, the WTA star immersed herself in Christopher Nolan’s 2014 classic, showcasing her passion for art and storytelling when she’s not fully indulged in her tennis career.

Apart from tennis and fashion, Gauff enjoys watching movies. Remember her recent outing for Ariana Grande’s musical fantasy movie, Wicked? “I’m not a musical girly butt this was really good!!! 10!!” wrote the WTA star on her IG story as the film’s review. Only eight days after she visited the theatres, Gauff shared another update about her recent movie time. Although this time her selection wasn’t something new, the choice nonetheless delighted her followers.

This former US Open champion shared an update on her IG story where she dropped the cover image of the Interstellar movie and wrote, “just watched this for the first time today… amazing movie.” Gauff’s words echoed her love for movies and also showcased how smitten she was after watching Nolan’s masterpiece. Although Gauff accepted that this was her first time experiencing this space-oriented sci-fi movie, her followers were impressed by her selection of movies. Late to the club since Interstellar was released in 2014, Gauff’s update expressed that she had a great time with the film.

Now, Gauff fans know well that this American player is a die-hard fan of Zendaya. When she received the trophy at the 2023 Flushing Meadows, Gauff expressed her admiration for the Hollywood star and also received a grand bouquet from the latter. Gauff’s former coach Brad Gilbert also trained Zendaya for the actress’s tennis-themed movie, Challengers. So, the American player has a strong connection with films.

Coco Gauff shares her love for Marvel in a social media update

The WTA star exited her 2024 Miami Open participation on a sad note when Caroline Garcia defeated her in the Round of 16. Although disappointed, Gauff found her relief in watching movies. She shared an IG update where highlighted Marvel’s X-men ’97 animated series in her watchlist. The player shared a photo of her living room, where the series was on the television. As soon as she dropped the update, her followers became impressed, happily welcoming her to the Marvel bandwagon.

Not only that, but Gauff also dropped a great review of the Challengers movie, revealing how many similarities she found with the film’s protagonist Tashi Duncan. “Tashi is a trash human being. No, she is not a trash human being, but let’s just say she is a villain, I didn’t know if it’s wrong, but I kind of see myself in Tashi.” Her words highlighted how deeply she watched the movie and how it made her story so relatable to Tashi Duncan’s.
