The Euro 2020 final was played between England and Italy at the Wembley Stadium. Eminent personalities, fans, and other sports stars attended the final at a packed Wembley stadium. However, the home team could not cross the final hurdle after a splendid performance throughout the tournament. Italy beat England 3-2 in penalties, after the full-time score ending on 1-1.

The tournament did not end well for a few players. Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Bukayo Saka missed their penalty kicks during the shootout after extra time. Consequently, the three players became a soft target for racist attacks by fans on social media.

No player deserves this, irrespective of the sport they play. Racism has been a topic of discussion for many years, and especially in the past year. Coco Gauff has shown a sense of solidarity after tweeting about the three players, who are still facing vile comments on their Instagram handles.
