Coco Gauff’s mother is enjoying herself at the Australian Open
In a thrilling contest at the Rod Laver Arena, the current world No. 4 player is currently playing against the unseeded Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk. During the quarterfinal match, Coco Gauff’s mother also appeared on the court’s screen, as she was sighted flexing her reflexes.

With lightning-fast reflexes, Candi caught the ball as soon as it fell inside the box, then she jumped for joy and pulled off a celebratory pose. Gauff’s stellar performances bring her closer to another major title
The fourth-seeded American started her campaign by outclassing the likes of Anna Karolína Schmiedlová, Caroline Dolehide, and Alycia Parks in the initial rounds of the Australian Open. In her fourth-round encounter, Coco Gauff later overcame her unseeded Polish opponent Magdalena Fręch in a straight-set game, 6-1, 6-2. For a spot in the semifinals, Gauff is currently up against her Ukrainian colleague Marta Kostyuk, as she is now a few games from winning the match.

The reigning Grand Slam champion won the opening set, 7-6, before dropping the second set, 6-7. In the third and decisive set, Gauff now has a 5-2 lead against Kostyuk while she is serving for the quarterfinal match. If she prevails in this encounter, the American tennis prodigy will then face either the defending champion Aryna Sabalenka or the 9th-seeded Barbora Krejčíková in the semifinal round.
