Recently, Pegula gifted a box to Townsend. What was inside it? Well, 27YO American tennis player unwrapped it in front of her fans and showed it through her Instagram stories. She said, “I’m not going to lie. I don’t know who has sent me a box from Buffalo, New York. But now it makes sense. Thank you so much. Oh! I’m trying this tonight. Thank you so much, Jess and Ready 24. You all are the best. Thank you so much. Oh! She’s so gorgeous, just look at her. Love her.

The box included a Restorative Vitamin C Cleanser, Daily Antioxidant Moisturizer, Refreshing Lavender Mist, and probably a moisturizing stick as well. The brand claims its ingredients to be clean, simple, and reliable. But how did it start almost 7 years back?

Pegula shares the story of introducing her skincare brand

Jessica Pegula’s vision was to offer products that seamlessly integrate into people’s daily routines, She said, “When I was growing up, for the most part, I had troubled skin. I tried a million different things and didn’t always give it the time to work. Your skin freaks out because there’s too much going on. So I was always interested in trying to figure out what helped and what worked. Like a lot of people, I was always looking for the quick fix.

Pegula underwent surgery on her right hip and missed almost 8 months of the season in 2016.”I wasn’t doing anything besides rehab, which gets pretty boring, So that’s basically how it started. And it took a little bit over a year to officially launch it, for everything to come together. Over time, I started to realize the more simplified I made my skincare, the better it seemed to work. So that was kind of my thought process behind Ready 24.
