Former world number and winner of 2018 Australian Open, Caroline Wozniacki has seen stupendous success in her tennis career and also battled through some tough times on the WTA tour.

The Danish player, who married NBA star David Lee in 2019, took to social media to announce the birth of their daughter, Olivia Wozniacki Lee. Wozniacki’s marriage to David Lee was attended by star tennis players like Serena Williams, Agnieszka Radwanska, Angelique Kerber.

Right from the start of her career, Wozniacki ensured proper balance between personal and professional life. While fiercely competing against Serena Williams, Angelique Kerber, amongst others, she also maintained an affectionate off-court relationship with them.

Announcing her daughter’s birth, Wozniacki wrote on Instagram, “Family of 3, Olivia Wozniacki Lee, born on June 11, 2021″.

Wozniacki, who battled rheumatoid arthritis in 2018, made a comeback on-tour by winning the WTA China Open. She always remained vocal about her health struggles and vowed to inspire more people battling arthritis.

Legendary doubles tennis player Bethanie Mattek-Sands was one of the first persons to wish the couple and was followed by Ash Barty, Gael Monfils, Madison Keys, Flavia Pennetta, etc. Agnieszka Radwanska, who is one of Wozniacki’s closest friends, also sent her wishes.

Former world number one Dinara Safina commented, “Congrats Caroline Wozniacki-David Lee. lots of love to your family ,and welcome baby Olivia”. 

Elena Vesnina, who was the runner-up in the French Open mixed-doubles along with Aslan Karatsev, also congratulated the happy couple.

“Caroline Wozniacki, congratulations to you all. Welcome to the world little princess Olivia”, Vesnina commented.
