On Saturday, Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian and daughter Olympia attended a soccer match between Angel City FC and Wave FC. Incidentally, Alexis is the leading investor of this soccer club. Well-renowned Hollywood actress Natalie Portman founded this club in 2020, with a dream to play in the NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League) one day.

Her dream will become a reality in 2022, as they will be a part of the NWSL this season. Recently, Portman shared a post on social media about their pre-season game, which Ohanian and Olympia attended. Later, Alexis shared this post on his social media, as he felt proud about the success of his team.

Ohanian and Olympia both had a fun Saturday watching the pre-season game of their club, Angel City FC. Earlier, Alexis posted a few videos and photos of their fun time on social media. Although the match ended in a draw, he was absolutely delighted with attendance in the crowd.

It seems like Natalie Portman also loved the response from the crowd, as she also posted on her Instagram. Later, Alexis shared her post on his Instagram story and wrote, “Sellout crowd for pre-season match. 1.5hr from LA @weareangelcity.”

Meanwhile, in her post, Natalie wrote, “Saturday was magic, the players, the fans. Already counting down the days until the next game!”

In the comment section, Alexis wrote, “just the start.”

In a recent video, we saw Portman cheering her team and interacting with the crowd during the pre-season match.

Serena Williams’ daughter is a part-owner of Angel City FC

In that pre-season game, the daughter of Serena Williams, Olympia, looked annoyed at the scoreline. Notably, Olympia is also a part-owner of the soccer club. Earlier in 2021, she announced on social media, as she became one of the youngest owners of the Los Angeles-based soccer club. Indeed, at this age, it was a great achievement for Olympia. 

Meanwhile, her mother, Serena Williams, is eying for a comeback in tennis this year. After suffering an injury at the Wimbledon last year, she missed almost eight months on the tour. Earlier, she indicated that she’s far from done with tennis, as the 23-time Grand Slam winner is still eying for that one Grand Slam title to touch the record, held by Margaret Court.
