Making a comeback to competitive action at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships, Serena Williams suffered an opening-round defeat. However, despite the disappointment, Williams has made sure that the loss doesn’t overshadow her off-court activities.

Yesterday, Williams and Ohanian headed to the UK premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder. Being die-hard Marvel fans, the two seemed to be significantly exhilarated for the premiere. Additionally, things became even more special for the two with the presence of American actress, Natalie Portman, also the co-founder of the National Women’s Soccer team, Angel City FC.

At the premiere event, Serena Williams, known for her social media presence, took to her Instagram account, uploading a story. The story featured Portman along with fellow actress Tessa Thompson in a candid interview after the screening.

Similar to his wife, Ohanian also uploaded a story on his Instagram account. However, unlike his wife Serena, the founder of the venture capital firm, ‘Seven Seven Six’ opted to give a verbal shoutout to Natalie Portman. Apart from being the leading actress in Thor, as mentioned earlier, Portman is also the co-founder of the newly formed National Women’s Soccer team, Angel City FC.

Uploading an Instagram story also featuring Serena, Ohanian said, “Date night, with my wife to see Thor: Love and Thunder starring Angel City FC co-founder, Natalie Portman.”

Co-founding Reddit, Ohanian took the next big step with the launch of his own venture capital firm, ‘Seven Seven Six’ in 2020. Since then, Ohanian has invested in a number of startups working in different segments. One of them is Angel City FC. Being a sports enthusiast, Ohanian became the lead investor in the football club.
