The childhood home of Venus and Serena Williams, where they grew up, learned to play tennis and started their journey to become the legends that they are today, is stuck in a legal conflict. The crumbling childhood house in Palm Beach Gardens has been stuck in a legal battle for years now. Richard Williams purchased the house back in 1981 and it holds a lot of sentimental value for both tennis stars. Now, it looks like the house will be back in the hands of the Williams family after a prolonged legal battle with Richard’s ex-wife.
For the past few years, Richard’s ex-wife, Lakeisha Graham, was fighting a legal battle to take ownership of the house. But the $1,600,000 Florida house went ‘King’ Richard’s way. However, in the process of trying to keep ownership of the house, she might have gotten herself into trouble with the law.

Serena Williams’ stepmother lands in another legal soup
The 23-time Grand Slam champion’s father and her stepmother have been in a 6-year-long legal battle over King Richard’s four-bedroom house in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. While Graham didn’t take care of the house, she took a legal route to claim it as her own. After years of legal battle, the house was handed over to its owner, Richard Williams, giving a huge relief to him.
The court did, however, grant Richard’s request to compel the production of financial records, according to the US Sun. Williams’ stepmother has been unable to stay clean of her run-in with law enforcement.
