Flaunting his skills, he showed an example of him getting excited to be in attendance at the Met Gala with his wife, Serena Williams.

The Reddit co-founder has always marveled over the growth of AI. This time, he shared his views on a translation startup that made him flaunt his Spanish skills.

However, if you know Ohanian, you must know that the entrepreneur does not know how to speak Spanish. So, how did he do it? His new investment in dubbing AI tech has made him able to do so. In an interview with Chris Wallace, he showed a demo of his speech getting translated into Spanish. Ohanian talked about his excitement to be at the Met Gala with his wife, Serena Williams.

He shed light on the technology and stated, “So, that is an entirely AI-generated dub and you’ll notice it has a very human-sounding intonation. If you speak Spanish, you’ll notice a great translation.” Shedding light on its benefits, he stated, “This is AI, and it is used to dub, what would normally take hours, in really seconds.”

We are pretty accustomed to seeing movies getting dubbed in other languages. However, it is an arduous task.

Talking about the same, he stated, “Traditionally, let’s say a feature-length film might take 50 people a few months to actually get through and dub professionally and a high-quality way now be done in a day. Thanks to software like this.”

So, it paves the way for channels like YouTube and Netflix to export content in a much better, faster, and cheaper way. However, Ohanian has also shed light on how sometimes even AI can give too far-fetched verdicts. Nevertheless, the Reddit co-founder aimed to go up against one of the GOATs of a sport after he fell in love with the sport
