I am extremely happy how both my fitness and tennis level held up at Wimbledon last week after a few tough months with injuries. Still, as you. saw, my right arm was heavily taped as it gave me a bit of trouble in the last two matches.”

Bencic also explained, “To get the arm to be back to 100% for the US swing. I am sadly having to miss both the Hopman Cup and Lausanne, my home tournament, next week. I hope to be back at both events next year, however, and aim to be back competing in Washington in a few weeks! @hopmancup @ladiesopenlausanne.”
