After training quite hard at the Australian Open 2021 bubble, the tennis superstars finally got to take the court and play before their fans. In an epic encounter, Serena Williams defeated World No.3 Naomi Osaka in an exhibition match in Adelaide. The final scoreline of the match was 6-2, 2-6, 7-6.

However, what became a sight to watch for the fans was the moment when little Olympia was seen waiting for her mother Serena Williams soon after the match. While Williams was giving her post-match interview, one could see Olympia standing on the court. It was as if she was waiting eagerly waiting for her mother to come and lift her.

It was definitely a cute moment and even Alexis, the husband of Williams, shared the pics of Olympia on his Instagram handle. He also wrote quite a unique and sarcastic caption with the post.

“Waiting for Mama like… OR…waiting for decentralized financial systems like,” wrote Alexis on Instagram.

Alexis sarcastically tried to say that Olympia’s reactions were as if she was actually waiting for some decentralized financial systems. Olympia was definitely giving some priceless reactions and surprisingly, her father actually made a joke out of them.

Can Serena Williams win the Australian Open 2021?

The win against Naomi Osaka in a tough match will surely give Williams some confidence before the Australian Open 2021. She is making a comeback after the French Open 2020 which she left in between due to an unfortunate injury and the win would certainly act as a stimulus for her.

In the match, one could see Williams smashing some powerful serves and delivering some great forehand winners. She has certainly got a great forehand, but will need to work on her backhand and return of serve.

Williams last won a Grand Slam four years ago, after which she has played four Grand Slams finals. However, she hasn’t been able to win any of them. With her current form, she’ll definitely target this Slam and will like to win her first Grand Slam in front of her daughter Olympia.

Serena will begin her 2021 campaign at the Australian Open 2021 in one week. Fans certainly have high expectations from her and want her to equal Margaret Court’s Grand Slam record of 24 titles this time. Will Williams be able to win her 24th Grand Slam title in Melbourne this year?
