Recently, she admitted how motherhood has blessed her with cherished moments, especially when Shai runs after her and calls her mommy. However, Osaka is also hoping to make a great comeback next season. She last played in the 2024 China Open and lost against Coco Gauff in the Round of 16 following an injury that forced her to withdraw from the rest of the Asian Swing. However, Osaka has already chalked her plans for next year.

Enthusiastic Osaka replied saying, “Actually I’m going to Auckland this/next year. I think I haven’t been there since 2017 so I’m excited to go back.” Osaka’s response intrigued her followers, offering hope that she might start showing her prowess at the beginning of 2025. On the other hand, Osaka has appointed Patrick Mouratoghlou as her new coach right before the Asian Swing. This French coach’s inclusion has helped Osaka gain her confidence. In a recent social media post, the Japanese player revealed that she had been “writing a book” and wanted to share an excerpt with her followers. Calling it her “Rumbling” Osaka finally shared a snippet where she shared her journey of embracing her uniqueness and becoming the strong person she is through self-acceptance. “Someone asked what the book is about and to be honest I don’t know how to classify it, I would say it’s about my life, observations I made and lessons learned along the way,” she wrote in a separate post highlighting the reason behind her writing. While it is the representation of Osaka’s perspectives, the excerpt showcases how talented and skilled she is.
