The Brit put an end to Britain’s 44-year wait for a women’s Grand Slam singles champion. Her career took off after becoming the first-ever qualifier to win a Grand Slam title. However, the 20-year-old has experienced a sharp decline in 2022. She has struggled to juggle her sporting obligations and her rising fame.

Emma Raducanu stuns her fans in her recent Halloween-inspired Instagram post

The Brit is determined to ensure that 2023 is different from her last season. She was marred by injuries and had to withdraw from various matches in 2022. Raducanu is prepared to start the 2023 campaign strong and her recent Instagram photo was proof of the same. She captioned her Insta post as, ” Halloween but 3 weeks late..”

The Brit had won ten straight games without dropping a set at the 2021 US Open. She has since been unsuccessful in stamping her authority in almost every Grand Slam event this year. Despite a disappointing season, in July, Raducanu rose to a career-high no.10 in the WTA rankings.

In the WTA rankings, she is currently ranked 75th. She further added in her post,“..plus some good old rehab.” The younger generation and many tennis players adore Raducanu.

Raducanu recently celebrated her birthday with her friends

The Brit thanked her 2.5 million Instagram followers for their good wishes. She posted some pictures from her special day. At the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire, the former US Open champion was spotted with two friends in a white hoodie.

Raducanu beamed as she held a gorgeous fruit and floral cake with the words “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate icing on it.
