Emma Raducanu has been out of form for most of the season. After enduring struggles on the court, a terrible injury put her out of commission till the US Open. However, the British player is not away from tennis. While she is still recovering from her injury, she is giving lessons on an online platform. The fees of the lessons are priced relatively high, but all the proceeds are being donated to a good cause, as confirmed by the LTA Foundation.

Raducanu may be continuing her philanthropy even during her injury, but she is out of a sponsor due to her injury. Just as Wimbledon was about to commence, Vodafone found a new brand ambassador in time for the grass slam.

The British player announced that she would not be back on the court for a long time, early in May. Due to surgeries on her wrists and left ankle, Raducanu has been out for a long time. However, she is still active in the sport during her recovery period. As she aims to come back for the US Open, Raducanu is teaching tennis.

She used AirWayz, an online platform through which she offers lessons. But lessons from a player of her stature don’t come cheap. She charges $2,000 per lesson and teaches each student individually. But she does not keep the cash with herself. Everything she earns for imparting wisdom, she donates to the LTA Foundation. The Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation confirmed the news itself.

While Raducanu is engaged in charitable activities, she unfortunately lost a partnership with Wimbledon.

Vodafone lets Raducanu go for other stars

Raducanu is currently on a hiatus owing to her recovery period. Going into the season, she was the face of Vodafone in Wimbledon. But her injuries and surgeries have selected a new ambassador for the English slam. As they announced recently, the fresh face of the brand will be Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett, wheelchair tennis stars.

The two have achieved quite a lot in the wheelchair division. Hewitt won the wheelchair tennis Masters in 2017 and 2021. While the British may have lost her position in Wimbledon, she is still a brand ambassador of the mobile network operating company. Fans and the network company are probably anticipating her return to tour soon.
