Coco Gauff has made immense strides in the last few months. After a turbulent year, Gauff managed to recover her form and go several steps beyond. Her current victories have provided her with an immense amount of prize money, already putting her in the top 5 earning players. But, her victories put her one spot short of Aryna Sabalenka, who has earned more than the American sensation.
The 19-year-old tennis star has managed to go big in all tournaments following the Wimbledon. So far, she only exited the Canadian Open, being ousted by her doubles partner, Jessica Pegula. The rest of her wins helped her earn massively.

A first-round exit from Wimbledon made Gauff’s 2023 season even worse for her and her fans. After an already tumultuous year, a big change was needed. She lifted the trophy in the Citi Open, Western & Southern Open, and the US Open. Gauff only lost the Canadian Open in the quarterfinal. Her achievements gave her an immense jump in prize money. For this season, she has earned $5,557,372, likely to go beyond $6 million after the China Open. Despite her efforts, she is below Aryna Sabalenka’s prize money earned this year.
The Belarusian player earned $7,369,635 this year due to a more consistent year. She reached the semifinal of two slams, the final of one, and won the Australian Open. Additionally, she has reached at least the quarterfinal of five Masters tournaments. The Belarusian beauty is above the player who defeated her in the US Open finals. But Gauff is earning a larger sum from another side, giving an even bigger boost to the prize money.

Gauff earns big from her sponsorship deals
The 19-year-old has attracted sponsors from all over the world due to her performances over the last four years. By age 15, she had already signed multiyear contracts with brands like Head, Barilla, and New Balance. She added three new sponsors to her portfolio in 2023: Bose, UPS, and Baker Tilly, an accounting firm.
Her shoe sponsor, New Balance, signed a five-year deal extension with her in 2022, making it one of the most valuable contracts in women’s tennis. Additionally, she also has a contract with Rolex. All of her sponsors enable her to earn more than she has on tour, even this year. If she keeps her form about her in the next season, she is bound to earn an even bigger amount.
