It has been turbulent times for Serena Williams’ best friend, Meghan Markle. Last month, her $20 Million podcast with Spotify was axed following the massive drama. Prince Harry and Meghan signed a deal worth millions with Spotify for their Archetypes podcast as they were looking to be financially independent from their Royal family, with whom they had separated way back in 2020. However, the deal has gone on to cold waters and the podcast won’t be returning for the next season.

Serena was the first guest on the Archetypes podcast. Serena got featured along with her best friend Meghan, as the two discussed Serena’s motherhood and their ambitions. However, with the show coming to a premature end, fans won’t be able to catch a glimpse of the two in the engaging conversations. Nonetheless, Meghan has provided an encouraging update despite recent setbacks.

The video of Meghan announcing the winners quickly went viral on social media. The video started with Meghan and Prince Harry ringing up the college students who were advocates of responsible technology and receivers of the grant. One of the college students, Emma Lembke, later said, “It was a complete surprise. I had no idea I would be speaking with them.”

Further, she went on to add, “The duke and the duchess, and all of their work, have been pivotal in moving so many social issues forward and bringing visibility to a lot of important areas, and specifically responsible tech.”

Like Meghan, Serena has also maintained her investments for a good cause. She has caused a big impact through her venture capital firm, making investments in companies that are focused on making the world a better place to live in.

Additionally, her firm, Serena Ventures has hugely backed women entrepreneurs as the tennis legend once found that women entrepreneurs consist only a small portion of the investment demographics. It was a wonderful move by Serena and like her best friend, she too has created a wave of change.
