Jessica Pegula has a jam-packed match scheduled

The fifth-seeded tennis player might be happy that she has advanced to top-tier levels in both singles and doubles categories. However, at the same time, juggling between matches might create chaos and a tiresome situation for her. After being placed in the WTA finals last round, the schedule for November 6 is filled with continuous matches, leaving no time for recovery in between.

However, the players who play in both categories usually play singles and doubles on the same day, with a very small time gap. Recently, according to a report by the tennis channel, Pegula’s possible schedule for tomorrow is filled with continuous matches. First, she will finish the doubles round-robin match alongside Coco Gauff.

After that, if she advances through the group, they will play a doubles semi-final. Then, they can play the finals of the same category, leaving no time for singles. While the singles championship match was also scheduled on the same day, looking at the possibility of having a locked-up schedule, the WTA shared an update regarding how the 29-year-old American tennis player’s singles final has been moved to the next day, which is the 6th of November.

Even after joining bits and pieces of her possible schedule, Jessica Pegula may still have to play three matches on the same day while fighting for the year-end championship. In a similar way, during the US Open, Pegula was caught in the middle of a scheduling mishap because of the tight match schedule.

The fifth-seeded tennis player’s partner was stuck in the middle of a hectic US Open schedule as it kept rushing between singles and doubles. Pegula was playing her third-round singles clash against Elina Svitolina, and just after that, she was scheduled to play a doubles match with Gauff.

However, her singles match went on for 2 hours before the American found victory, which led to a delay in her doubles match that was set to take place at the Grandstand. Subsequently, the consequences were faced by the fans who were waiting at Grandstand to witness America’s finest pair.
