Serena Williams is an all-rounder in the true sense. She has had an astonishing tennis career, being amongst the best players to have played the sport. Further, the grit and determination with which she played tennis have been a trait to learn for the next generation of players.
Over her illustrious career, the younger Williams sister went on to claim an incredible 23 Grand Slam titles, the most in the Open Era. Additionally, she has also won 14 major titles in women’s doubles, partnering with her elder sister, Venus Williams. Adding a golden lining to her wonderful career, the American legend also has four Olympic gold medals to her credit.

Further, Serena has a close-knit bond with her daughter, Olympia. The mother-daughter duo often share their adorable moments on their social media handles. While Serena has been away from tennis, she has ensured to spend quality time with her daughter. Recently, she took Olympia on a dinner date.

The former World Number 1 took to Instagram to share her dinner date with the four-year-old. Posting a story on her official Instagram handle, she said, “Alright, we are on a date, Olympia. You like your bread? Did you steal my bread? Oh my god.” Further, Olympia was all smiles as she enjoyed the meal.

Serena has been quite busy with her off-court ambitions, lately. Earlier this year, Serena Ventures, her Venture Capital firm, raised USD 111 Million as an inaugural fund which Serena aims to invest in women and diversity. Subsequently, her film King Richard won massive honor at the Oscars. Will Smith, playing the role of her father, won the ‘Best Actor’ award at the Oscars.

On the tennis front, the younger Williams sister is aiming to make a return later this year. She has been having light training sessions in order to regain match fitness. If all goes well, we might see Serena in action as soon as Wimbledon in June this year.
