Keeping it private until now, Miami Open champion Danielle Collins has finally confirmed she’s off the market! After a convincing win against Elise Mertens in the Charleston quarterfinals, the currently ranked No. 22 player sat down with Tennis Channel and spilled the beans about her beau. It turns out, love found her off the court, with a Bostonian named Bryan Kipp stealing her heart.

In a recent revelation, Danielle Collins came ahead and suggested that she found love unexpectedly in a London coffee shop. She met her boyfriend at Wimbledon, where they hit it off over coffee. What’s surprising is that he didn’t know she played tennis.

“We have been going out for a while now and we met at a coffee shop in London so that was pretty exciting. I didn’t think I would meet someone at a coffee shop who would have thought?”, explained the tennis superstar of her chance encounter with her boyfriend.

She further revealed how her boyfriend was completely clueless about her being a tennis player and how he was a bigger fan of another sport. “He didn’t do anything about tennis. He didn’t know I was a Tennis player which was very nice and he was actually a bigger fan of golf. So he used go like.. ‘I really like golf and I don’t really know much about tennis’ and I was really like yes that’s so exciting.”

Danielle admired the fact that Bryan has interest in things other than Tennis and she feels this really helps them learn and grow on a personal level. “It’s fun to kind of like be around someone who has interest in other things..because you get to learn and grow with them.”

Not only this, but she also hopes they can play tennis together in the future, maybe even as a couple in doubles tournaments. But there’s a catch. “In the future, I am hoping that we will play like maybe the husband and wife doubles like the usta. I explained to him that this is a big thing in the Tennis world so hopefully that doesn’t tear us apart because he is very competitive,” said Collins.

Danielle Collins is cautiously hopeful about their future, unsure if their competitive natures might cause problems. Still, she’s excited about the journey ahead, discovering more about each other both on and off the court. Having talked about her boyfriend, let’s now get to know him a little closely.

Not only this, he was a track state champion back in the year 2006. Adding to more glory, he has also earned 7 varsity letters during his time as a professional athlete. Currently, he is serving as the VP of Revvity, an initiative aimed towards a healthier humankind.
